The Nasci FC is suitable for use in both fresh and salt water, equipped with CoreProtect technology to increase resistance to corrosion, with waterproofing, without the feeling of difficulty during rotation. Silent Drive technology is one of the technologies found in the company's flagship mechanisms and is the one that offers smooth rotation, giving a completely silent and gentle operation, while reducing the vibrations of the spool and increasing the winding efficiency.

Shimano Vanford mechanism
The Vanford mechanism is made of the exclusive CI4+ material, aiming to achieve a particularly low weight. It combines SilentDrive and MicroModule Gear II technologies, in order to achieve smooth rotation of the mechanism, while providing a completely silent operation! For the operation of the brakes, Shimano has utilized Cross Carbon discs in the 4000 and 5000 models for additional power and durability. It clearly incorporates Shimano's leading technologies, but sets completely new standards in the philosophy of manufacturing spinning mechanisms for use in the open sea.
