With a weight of 213g it is very easy to use, light but also sturdy. Its crank is made of non-slip EVA material for comfortable handling. It also has an aluminum spool.

Shimano Vanford mechanism
The Vanford mechanism is made of the exclusive CI4+ material, aiming to achieve a particularly low weight. It combines SilentDrive and MicroModule Gear II technologies, in order to achieve smooth rotation of the mechanism, while providing a completely silent operation! For the operation of the brakes, Shimano has utilized Cross Carbon discs in the 4000 and 5000 models for additional power and durability.
